Mytherium

This was for my Objects and Design class at Georgia Tech. Collect mythical creatures, trade with others, and learn more about the stories of legend from the world's forgotten past.

We wanted to create a fun way to connect myths and history with games, so we created a trading card website! Each myth has a region, rarity, and power-up associated with it. The power-ups are used for the daily quizzes curated! You can also trade cards and pull new cards from our luck-based system.

I was a full-stack programmer.

What Did I Do?

What Have I Learned?

I didn't know that Python could be used to program a website - now, I know how to use Django to do so! I learned a lot about CSS and HTML, and it was my first time using Figma, so I got a lot of experience. I had also never fully integrated an API into a project before, so learning how to do so and process through the data was fun to learn on the fly. I also got a lot better at debugging and fixing issues with GitHub. I would like to thank my teammates, Mahika, Kate, and Kseniia - I truly could not have worked on this project without them.
